Sailability Ireland is the new name for the Irish disabled sailing association (IDSA)which was established in 1980 to introduce & encourage people of all ages and disabilities to participate in sailing. Thirty years on the sport has moved on to involve sailors at all levels of the sport, from club racing, international championships, to Paralympics campaigns. We decided to partner with Sutton Dingy Club to provide a Hansa dinghy which they could use to teach the sport itself, the physical requirements, the comradery and the awareness for risks that come along with watersports.
